Thank you Letter to South Pacific loans

South Pacific Loan has given skipping ropes and 6 flags, 2 with the name of our school and the other 4 were the names of the 4 houses at school so we wanted to thank them.

Dear South Pacific Loan

It was a real pleasure knowing that you guys were giving our school skipping ropes.  You also gave us flags  with the school name on it as well as the school houses.  We were very excited and we used the ropes to practise our routines for the Jump Rope Day.  We used the flag when we went out to Glen Innes Centre for our Jump Rope for Heart.  That helps the people there to know who we are.  Thank you very much for everything you have done for us. We really want you to know that your generosity is greatly appreciated. We are looking forward for your continuous support towards our school in the coming years.

All about Astronomy

All about Astronomy
Sun
Our sun is a star located at the center of our solar system. It is a huge, spinning ball with hot gas and nuclear reaction that light up the earth and provides us with heat. The sun’s core has a tremendously high temperature which is roughly 15 million.

Moon
The moon is Earth’s only natural satellite. The moon is a cold, dry orb whose surface is studded with craters and strewn with rock and dust (called regolith).

Solar system
Our solar system is located in the outer reaches of the milky way Galaxy, which is spiral galaxy. The milky way contains roughly 200 billion stars. Most of these stars are not visible from earth. Almost everything that we can see in the sky belong to the Milky way galaxy.

Comets
A comet is a loose collection of ice, dust, and rock particles typically with a long, narrow orbit.
Comets can be many different colors including silver, blue, purple and gold at the end of their trail. Comets are usually blue or white at the front part. The color of the comet depend on its distance from the sun.

Planets
There are 8 planets in the solar system - pluto is now a dwarf planet taking us down from 9. The planets are Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune and Uranus.

These are all the information I know about Astronomy.
