Narrative writing...

The mother and son stand outside in the strange weather staring their eyes towards the open sky, as they were looking towards they  were shocked to see such a remarkable view. They never imagined seeing something like that in there life. The weather kept making weird sounds, and they haven't heard sounds like that before.

They were both speechless to explain what they have seen and shocked at the same time. The son couldn’t stop nagging to his mum telling her “ Mum Mum can you see what I see” the son asked, they just stood there in the rain staring at the amazing view. The son mother regret leaving the camera at home, she got angry because it was such  amazing scene. They got bored by the minute at looking at the Unexpected view, they were ready to the leave , but the son didn’t want to leave just yet.

As they left , they saw few people just at the back with their camera ready to take the beautiful weird view. The mother was so disappointed in herself cause she never came with a camera to take a photo of her and her son to remember what they saw. The mother left home feeling sad but her son cheered her up by hugging her and telling her we don’t need a photo to remember that day we can picture it in our head.

The mother smiled at her son saying I love you and she made hot warm hotcakes to eat while watching Zootopia. Later on unexpectedly an email came from one of the people who were taking picture of the amazed view send a picture of the mother and son standing and looking at the breathtaking view. They mother couldn’t stop looking at picture she stared for hours and kept smiling while staring at it…

A 2 dimensional shape measure the length & the width. 2d is different to a 3d because a 3d measure the height, width & the depth.

Zoo designer

When I started playing this game it had to do something with finding the area of any shape or object . By doing that I was given a number and a platform with small cubes in it to do my calculations. That number that was given to me was 34 . 34 was actually a answer, because we had to try and find the right multiplication number sentence to do it. You have to crop the right Length and width to get the correct answer . If you have got your answer and think it is right you can click on create exhibit, and if it is right then your done. This game is quite easy because it has to do with times table and I know my times off by heart.

Description about my Mum....

For as long as I could remember, you would always provided stability within our family. Full of laughter, full of tears and full of love. You have been a caring person, cause you puts others before yourself. No one else ever know the strength of my love for you. I may not be perfect with things that I’ve done. But this is my way to say I love you mum.


The love I have for you mum is deeper than the deepest sea. Throughout my whole life you have support my sister and I with love and care.You have loved me from the beginning & will to the end. In my heart are many memories of the loving things you’ve done with me.


As long I could remember you always been by my side since day one, & you were always there for me. You always been my hero, & forever in my heart. You tell me you love me, for no reason Which is always nice Mum , I do love you Mum, I do care especially knowing you’ll always be there.You are the world to me, I am lucky to have you in my life.

1. You give 1/3 of box of brownies to Anna and 1/6 of the pan of brownies to Ben. How much of the box of brownies did you give away?

1/3 + 1/6 = 9∕18 = 1/2

3x6=18 so that the denominator.

6x1=6

3x1=3

6+3=9 so that the numerator.

Answers:9/8 = 1/2

This maths problem I am showing is an example of me explain how to add and subtract fractions. My class has been learning this stratergy for about a week now and by the help of my teacher and friends I think I have learnt alot but I still need to improve more .

Today in Writing, I have playing a game called Main idea Millionaire, this game have shown me what is a simile and Metaphors. A simile is a figure of Writing that compares 2 thing that are alike in some way. A Metaphors is similar to Similes. This game has showed me some few tips on how I can improve my Writing.

This game really made me realised the importance of knowing my times tables off by heart. Although I know most of the multiplication facts I think I was not fast enough when playing this game. I struggle a bit but I mangaged to come first. If you want to challenge your problem solving skills, play this game.

2. For 4 days of the week the zoo has a concession for schools. $10 each for the first 100 children and then $12 each for the others. What would a school pay if there are 127 children?
3. On a Friday evening  the zoo has a special rate for  school children:for every paid 7 children 2 get to go in free.  What would it cost a school with  147 children?

Answer for :

1. 14+14=28 333=11 28+33=$61✓
2. 10x100=1000 so 12 x 27 = 324 so 1000+324= 1324✓
3. 147 9 = 16 r 3

16 x 7 = 112

112 x 11 = 1232
11 x 3 = $33

1232 + 33 = $1265 for the 147 children

All about me

Hi, my name is Anau and I am 12 years old turning 13 next year. I am a full Tongan but I don’t know how to speak Tongan. I go to Glen Innes School, I am in room 7. I have only one sibling and her name is Tainah, she goes to Selwyn College. The college I think I am going to is either Selwyn or Tamaki College. I have a favourite colour and it is red, black, purple and gold. The only subject I like to do in School is Maths because you just have to solve problems.

I really like to spend time with my family in the weekend. My favourite places in New Zealand is Rainbows ends and the Movies. This is all about me.
