  3. On a Friday evening  the zoo has a special rate for  school children:for every paid 7 children 2 get to go in free.  What would it cost a school with  147 children?

Answer for :
  1. 14+14=28 333=11 28+33=$61✓
  2. 10x100=1000 so 12 x 27 = 324 so 1000+324= 1324✓
  3. 147 9 = 16 r 3
16 x 7 = 112
112 x 11 = 1232
11 x 3 = $33
1232 + 33 = $1265 for the 147 children

All about me

All about me

Hi, my name is Anau and I am 12 years old turning 13 next year. I am a full Tongan but I don’t know how to speak Tongan. I go to Glen Innes School, I am in room 7. I have only one sibling and her name is Tainah, she goes to Selwyn College. The college I think I am going to is either Selwyn or Tamaki College. I have a favourite colour and it is red, black, purple and gold. The only subject I like to do in School is Maths because you just have to solve problems.

I really like to spend time with my family in the weekend. My favourite places in New Zealand is Rainbows ends and the Movies. This is all about me.

In this game I have learnt a lot from this, it helps me to practise my multiplication and division facts.  I realised that if I know my times tables off by heart then I will have a better score.  Next time I will make sure I can 25 or more.
