How to Subtract and add fractions.
- You give 1/3 of box of brownies to Anna and 1/6 of the pan of brownies to Ben. How much of the box of brownies did you give away?
1/3 + 1/6 = 9∕18 = 1/2
3x6=18 so that the denominator.
6x1=6
3x1=3
6+3=9 so that the numerator.
Answers:9/8 = 1/2
This maths problem I am showing is an example of me explain how to add and subtract fractions. My class has been learning this stratergy for about a week now and by the help of my teacher and friends I think I have learnt alot but I still need to improve more .
