Word Maze

In this game I've have learn how to play this game and it very simple to play because you just have to add the letter to make a word that why it simple. This have taught me a very interesting ways of learning. The level I've got up to was level 2 and I need more help learn to spell.

Today I am here to tell you about the most interesting facts that I have done in the past few months. To start off, I was surprised to go to room 12 because I’m the only a Year 6 in Room 12. It is usually Year 7 & 8. I have met a lot of new friends like Autymn, Sameera, Melissa, Maia, Asiana, Celia, Lanu, Hilda Rose and Chloe. My best friends are Melissa and Sameera. They have made my year 6 life fun and amazing. Room 12 has a lot of interesting things to do. The last thing I’ve have to say about this Class, is that it’s an amazing class.

Measurement 25/11/14

In our Maths class, Room 12 we have been learning about measurement with a protractor. We  used a protractor to work out the answer for the measurement.

Brainie 24 - 10 - 14

Term 4 Room 12 maths class have been learning strategies to add and solve problems. The game I have been playing is brainie it a kind of a hard to add because I have just started playing this game and it really interesting games to play.

In this I have really learned a few interesting how to add. My level I have got up to level 4 it a bit hard to work out the answer.

Adding using tidy numbers with problems

This Week WALT is : Solve addition problems by first adding a tidy number and then subtracting a small number compensate.

This maths worksheet I have to use different strategies like make a tidy number.

For Example: 35 + 30 = 65 - 3 = 62

We use bridges to add to the closest tidy number to 30.

Compensate means subtracting the answer.

I have learned some easy strategies to work out the answer on the maths worksheet.

Thank you letter from Room 2

Room 2 came and gave a thank you letter for Baking the whole school muffins. Room 2 and all the student in Glen Innes School loved the Muffin that the Room 11 and 12 Baked.
